Since 1990, Rita has represented long-term care facilities, assisted living facilities and other senior housing facilities, hospice companies, pharmacies and other health-related entities in California. Rita assists clients with reimbursement and other payment issues that arise in the daily operation of post-acute care facilities.
LEADERSHIP, MEMBERSHIP & HONORS
Rita currently serves on the GR Payment Subcommittee of the California Association of Health Facilities (CAHF), the largest trade association primarily serving the long-term care profession in California. She has served on various subcommittees of CAHF in the past. She has been a member of the Board of Directors of the Orange County Chapter of CAHF for a number of years.
EDUCATION & EXPERTISE
Rita has handled numerous Medi-Cal, private insurance, managed care and private pay reimbursement matters on behalf of healthcare providers. After working in the legal field as a certified paralegal for many years, Rita received her Bachelor of Science degree in Law in 1990 and her J.D. from Western State University in 1991. She was admitted to the California State Bar that same year. Rita is also admitted to practice in the U.S. District Court for the Central District of California and the U.S. Supreme Court.
