JAI H. CHUNG
Jai H. Chung received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from University of California at Irvine in 2005 and graduated from Whittier College School of Law in 2008. Jai was admitted to the California State Bar in May of 2009. Prior to joining the Firm as an associate in 2014, Jai practiced real estate and business litigation law and real estate transaction law, representing real property owners, receiverships and businesses in litigation and transactional matters. Jai is a member of the Firm’s Transactions Department.
ROBERTA L. CUTSINGER
Roberta L. Cutsinger received a Bachelor of Arts degree in English from California State University at Long Beach. She graduated from Western State University of Law in Fullerton in 1991. While at Western State, Roberta earned several American Jurisprudence awards and graduated with honors. Since her admission to the bar in 1991, Roberta’s practice has focused on healthcare law with an emphasis on creditor’s rights and remedies and on issues relating to reimbursement from managed care organizations and private insurance companies. Roberta has represented non-profit acute care hospitals on a wide range of issues including contract matters, third party payor disputes, and Medicare and Medi-Cal payment issues. Roberta also has a wide range of experience in probate matters including the representation of healthcare providers in Conservatorship and Trust proceedings. Roberta was of counsel to the Firm before joining as a senior associate in 2000 and is a member of the Firm’s Collections and Reimbursement Department.
SARA M. SCOTT
Sara M. Scott received a Bachelor of Arts degree in International Business from Westminster College of Salt Lake City in 2005 and graduated from University of San Diego School of Law in 2010. Sara was admitted to the California State Bar in January 2011. Sara interned at the YMCA of San Diego and the San Diego Volunteer Lawyer Program’s HIV/AIDS Clinic while in law school. Prior to joining the Firm as an associate in 2013, Sara practiced general corporate, securities and tax law in San Diego. Sara is a member of the Firm’s Transactions Department.
J. EDWARD WILSON
J. Edward Wilson graduated from University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts degree in History and Political Science. He obtained his law degree from University of Oregon School of Law, where he served as an editor for the school’s main law journal, Oregon Law Review. Since his admission to the bar in 2006, Ed has practiced civil litigation with several law firms in Orange County. As a result of his active participation in the legal community, he was elected to serve on the Board of Directors of the Orange County Bar Association. Ed joined the Firm as an associate in 2010 and is a member of the Firm’s Collections and Reimbursement Department. He is an experienced litigation attorney representing non-profit and for profit healthcare providers on a wide range of issues, including contract matters, third party payor disputes, and Medicare and private payor issues.
